How the glam began
Hello all! I am Candice Nelson, a South Carolina stylist who loves everything about cosmetology! I am the founder of Glam Station and the Glam products.
I have been in the industry for 9 years, but I was afraid to start the business that I've always dreamed of having and wanted! It wasn't until March of 2018 that I finally jumped out on faith.
I found out my youngest son was diagnosed with Autism, and that was the extra push I needed! My brain has been turning like a wheel. I founded Rainbow Minks, a branch of Glam Station, and dedicated it to my kids: one who is autistic and the other who has ADHD.
Each lash line represents a symptom of Autism in hopes that this could be a voice for someone who may need answers. These are some of the symptoms that can connect with the names...
-
anxiety
-
sensitivity to loud sounds
-
speech delay
-
social withdraws
-
Echolalia
-
clumsy
